Most hosting control panels include a File Manager that can compress a folder into a .zip archive. The exact button names vary by panel, but the process is normally:
1. Log in to the hosting control panel link supplied in your DIC welcome email.
2. Open File Manager.
3. Browse to the folder you want to compress, for example public_html or a folder inside public_html.
4. Select the folder.
5. Choose Compress, Archive, Zip, or Create archive from the toolbar or right-click menu.
6. Choose .zip as the format if the panel asks for a format.
7. Wait for the archive to finish, then download it to your computer.
8. Delete the zip file from the hosting account after downloading it if it contains private website files, database exports, or other sensitive data.
If you do not see these options, open a support ticket and DIC can help create a backup or zip archive for you.
